The Middle. Described in three words “I LOVE IT.” I feel like I am one more member of the Heck family. The middle-age, middle-class, middle-American Family. My mom is like Mom Frankie Heck (two-time Emmy winner Patricia Heaton) who uses a sense of humor to try to steer her family through ups and downs as she tackles her career goals.
My dad is like her unflappable husband, Mike (Neil Flynn), is a manager at the local quarry.
I am a lot like Oldest son Axl an obstinate young man.
I can’t stop the urge to hug awkward daughter Sue, who cannot seem to find her niche — despite much enthusiasm in her attempts — and grew up with inanimate friends like youngest son Brick the unusual child whose best friend is his backpack.
I don’t watch much Television, and since The Golden Girls, I haven’t truly enjoyed sitting in front of the tube, but this series along with Shameless and Superstore make my world stop and join them in their adventures. I love everything about it, Everyone in it, and can’t get enough of it. I hope each character gets a spin off show, It would be awesome to see how they all turn out. I am sure writers Eileen Heisler and DeAnn Heline can come out something phenomenal.
